Biography
Professor Kumiega has applied his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering to research positions in both the manufacturing and financial industries. He currently serves as Quantitative Research Analyst for a large asset management group where he develops quantitative research models, including pricing models for convertible bonds, multi-factor stock selection models, credit analysis, and economic value-added and free cash flow models. Previously, he developed time study analyses and computer simulation models for McDonald's Corporation and served as an engineer for a number of manufacturing companies.
