Biography
Professor Geisler is a leading scholar in the area of technology management with a specialty in health care technology management. His research, published in seven books and over 60 scholarly articles, has contributed fundamental and innovative ideas that have significantly influenced the study of many areas, including industry/university/government alliances, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer. His research and ideas have defined and established the field of management of medical technology in health care organizations through numerous articles and three books, special issues of the International Journal of Technology Management, and the International Journal of Healthcare Technology and Management, which he founded. He is also the co-founder of the forthcoming Journal of the Management of Medical Technology. Dr. Geisler directs the Center for the Management of Medical Technology at IIT Stuart.
