    Haizhi Wang, assistant professor of finance, came to Stuart in August 2008 after finishing his PhD from the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where he was the recipient of the Founder's Award of Excellence in 2007. Dr. Wang has been a visiting scholar at the Center for Financial Analysis and Policy at the University of Cambridge, UK. Dr. Wang's research focuses on corporate finance, financial institutions and markets, and entrepreneurial finance. His research has been published in academic journals such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Small Business Economics, Advances in Financial Economics and Managerial Finance. He has received a research grant from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and three research grants from the Kauffman Foundation and Berkley Research Center of the Stern School of Business. His teaching interests are primarily in the area of corporate finance, financial institutions, entrepreneurial finance and statistical methods.
