Biography
Professor Pawlak's current research interests lie in the areas of financial modeling of derivatives and trading simulations for risk management. He is currently a senior staff engineer for Motorola where he designs and simulates wireless telecommunication systems, specializing in algorithms for digital signal processing. He has held previous management positions at McDonnell-Douglas, Lucent Technologies, and Northrop-Grumman.
