Notable Quote
“To teach is to convey the known. By verbalizing complex thoughts in the simplest way possible, I am learning from the interaction with students everyday. To research is to uncover and conquer the unknown. Through successes and failures, I am learning from myself and colleagues. Teaching and research are both rewarding experiences, and empower me with the ability to learn. This is the career that I cherish.”

Notable Vignette
While a PhD student, I got connected with a leading multi-national company as a consultant to their global operations strategies. This exceptional experience allowed me to explore the practices with a real firm, and to realize that in order to solve any strategic or tactic issues, one has to integrate knowledge from multiple disciplines. This experience has opened up new vistas for my research and teaching from a multi-disciplinary perspective.
