As a doctoral student at Carnegie Mellon University, one is required to teach a class to meet the degree requirement. I learned that teaching needs effort, but that experience can be very fulfilling. When I received a “thank you” note from one of my students that was the best moment for me.

What excites me about Stuart
Bright and aspiring students, close proximity to Chicago’s financial hub, and the tremendous growth prospect of the Stuart school.

My Teaching Philosophy
To quote William Arthur Ward: “The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.” I enjoy teaching. In fact, both my parents were teachers. They loved their jobs and were well respected. I hope someday I could tell them that I do a great job as a teacher too.

My Teaching/Research Interests
I am interested in studying the equilibrium implications of asset prices, both theoretically and empirically. My research interests include asset pricing, portfolio choice, fixed income, and DSGE.
