Research Interests

Biography
Professor Anderson is a registered professional engineer with more than 25 years combined academic and industrial experience. In the environmental engineering program, Dr. Anderson teaches courses in water chemistry, environmental transport, and groundwater modeling. Dr. Anderson's research program has received more than $1M in research funding from industrial, state, and federal sources. Research topics include the fate and transport of trace elements in aquatic systems, biosolids mineralization, watershed modeling, and planning for water reuse. In addition to his teaching and research interests, Dr. Anderson has been active with the Fox River Ecosystem Partnership and the Fox River Study Group.
