Admission Requirements: Certificate

Description: A certificate student is any student admitted by IIT Stuart as a certificate student, and who is registered as a certificate student at IIT Stuart. International applicants planning to attend IIT Stuart on a student visa may not apply for admission as a certificate student due to immigration regulations.

Application

You may apply for admission to a certificate program in any semester. We recommend that you submit your completed application and all supporting documents at least two weeks prior to the first day of the semester for which admission is desired.

Admission Requirements

Enrollment is limited to students who have already completed a bachelor's degree at an accredited institution and who have at least two years of work experience. Some programs have additional requirements or prerequisites.

Enrollment

Certificate students may enroll in as many hours as are necessary to complete the certificate. Students enrolled in a graduate certificate program who subsequently apply for admission and are admitted as a degree-seeking student at IIT Stuart may apply all approved coursework taken in the certificate program and passed with a grade of "B" or better toward the degree. Admission to a certificate program does not guarantee future admission to a degree program.
