NOTE: For the GMAT, the minimum score is 500 for MBA, 550 for MS in Financial Markets, and 600 for MS in Finance and  650 for Ph.D. For MS applicants submitting GRE scores, the minimum score for Marketing Communication and Environmental Management is 1000 (combined verbal and quantitative), the minimum score for MS Financial Markets is 1100, the minimum score for MS in Finance and Master of Mathematical Finance is 1200 and the minimum score for Ph.D. is 1300.

Applicants to all master's programs, including the MBA, must have, or are expected to have completed prior to enrollment, an undergraduate degree from an accredited university.

There are additional requirements for certain programs:

Financial Markets: Accepted students must take a Diagnostic Mathematics Exam (DME) through the Center for Financial Markets at IIT Stuart prior to starting classes. Students will be sent information about scheduling the DME near the start of the term. Based on the results of this exam, as well as the applicant's academic and professional background, some prerequisite courses may be required.

Environmental Management: Applicants will be assessed after admission to determine if they need to take two of the core courses: Fundamentals of Environmental Science (EM 500) and Applied Mathematics for Environmental Managers (EM 503). Typically, students who have not taken college-level chemistry courses or their equivalents take these two courses.

PhD in Management Science: Applicants must typically have completed a master's degree and the business core at either the graduate or undergraduate level. For applicants who have a master's degree but have not completed the business core, some prerequisite courses will be required.
