Undergraduate Admission

The IIT Stuart School of Business program marries technology, business and entrepreneurial thinking through classroom and project-based classes. Graduates are able to bring employers the “Entrepreneurial Thinking” so craved by business or they are prepared to embark upon careers as entrepreneurs. Unique to IIT Stuart is the opportunity to specialize in traditional business disciplines (e.g., finance and marketing) or in any other discipline area offered by the University such as applied math, construction management, architecture, engineering or a specialization of the student’s choosing. Graduates are able to tailor their business degrees in ways that uniquely address their academic and professional interests while gaining a strong theoretical and applied foundation in the core areas of business. IIT Stuart is committed to a superior education provided by academically and professionally qualified instructors who take special interest in each student. Our diverse student body exposes students to other cultures on a daily basis in the classroom and through project-based requirements including IIT’s signature Inter-professional Project (IPRO) program, which involves our students in solving real-world problems – some of which become student-run businesses. IIT Stuart’s location in the Chicago metropolitan area provides access to internships and post-graduate employment within a business community that includes many of the titans of American business and entrepreneurship and also affords students easy access to world-class cultural, recreational and educational opportunities.
