Career Leader Program
Assessment
Before you begin your job search, it is critical that you have a focus. The first step with any job search is to carefully consider:
* Your skills, interests, and values.
* The type of position you are seeking
* Which industries and companies interest you.
At The Office of Career Services, we can assist you with your career exploration and self-assessment through counseling appointments and assessment tools.
Career Counseling
Meet with a career counselor to:
- Identify career options
- Listen to your career-related concerns and issues
- Help you identify and clarify your career-related issues
- Refer you to resources, programs or other professionals, as appropriate
Please email or call us at 312-906-6542 to request an appointment with a career counselor.
CareerLeader
Most MBA/Masters students are unsure about their short and long term career goals. Many of you are wondering, "What am I going to do after graduation?"
Conducting a thorough self-assessment is an effective and essential step in your career search process. The Stuart Graduate School of Business is pleased to offer CareerLeader, the premier business career self-assessment tool. (For links to other assessment tools, visit our Resources and Links site).
CareerLeader is comprised of three sections:
- Business Career Interest Inventory (BCII)
- Management and Professional Rewards Profile (MPRP)
- Management and Professional Abilities Profile (MPAP)
CareerLeader is self-directed - when you are ready to get serious about your job search and feel certain you are prepared to complete the assessment - then get started by clicking here:
Please allow a total of a hour and a half to complete all three sections. It's best to complete the sections in order and you are encouraged to take all three sections of the assessment over a period of 1-2 days.
Contact the Office of Career Services if you need further information about accessing CareerLeader.
