Description

This concentration emphasizes the "action" orientation of successful entrepreneurs and the marketplace conditions that entrepreneurs encounter in all the areas of management practice. You will learn how to design a value creation process, how to develop a business model for commercializing the value bundle, how to test the model using computer-based simulation techniques, and how to prepare a strategy to obtain venture capital/private equity financing. The entrepreneurship concentration prepares students to create new business ventures and to manage existing technology-driven business organizations that have the potential for exponential growth. IIT Stuart also offers an Entrepreneurship certificate program.
