Financial Management
Description
This concentration is concerned with financial decision-making and financial instruments and markets. Students learn how to apply economic and financial theory to obtain solutions to financial problems, such as choosing among alternative investment projects and evaluating proposed investment strategies. Courses focus on managing investment portfolios and corporate finance. A finance concentration prepares students for careers in corporate finance and treasury management, banking and insurance, and portfolio management. IIT Stuart also offers a Financial Management certificate program.
