Description

This concentration analyzes the dynamic global environment in which today's business managers must operate. Courses outline the structure of the international financial systems and explain how the foreign exchange markets work. Other topics include the evolution of global enterprise, technology transfer, foreign direct investment, and trade disputes. Managers must examine the relation between culture and economics and learn the importance of ethical and social responsibility in an international context. International Business prepares students for management careers in multi-national enterprises, international banking, and U.S. firms with interests in overseas operations. IIT Stuart also offers an International Business certificate program.
