Dissemination of Knowledge
Journals
The CMMT, in cooperation with the HCTM, publishes a refereed journal: International Journal of Healthcare Technology and Management. (IJHTM). The IJHTM was founded in 1999 and is published by Inderscience of Geneva, Switzerland. It is a quarterly journal and its level of acceptance of manuscripts is below 30%. Papers published in the journal reflect all five themes of the CMMT.
In addition, Dr Wickramasinghe at CMMT has been appointed the new editor-in-chief of the refereed journal International Journal of Networking and Virtual Organisations and has been asked to be the editor-in-cChief of a new journal International Journal of Biomedical engineering and Technology. Both journals are peer reviewed and published quarterly by InderScience with acceptance levels for manuscripts below 30%.

Conferences
The CMMT co-sponsored the annual International Conference on the Hospital of the Future (HOF). The 2006 conference will be hosted by CMMT in Chicago in August of 2006.
In 2004 Professors Geisler and Wickramasinghe were instrumental in establishing the “e-knwoledge in healthcare” mini-track at Americas conference on Information Systems (AMCIS). This was the first time that healthcare focused mini-tracks were recognized at AMCIS.
