Undergraduate Business Programs
Real-World CurriculumIn the Fall 2012 semester, IIT Stuart launched a distinctive and innovative undergraduate program, designed for business majors who want to be able to “speak the language” of architects, engineers, scientists, or other professional colleagues. It is an unparalleled advantage in an economy built upon emerging technologies and technical expertise.
Our undergraduate students can earn their bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in one of the many scientific or technology-oriented disciplines available at IIT. For example, you may want to pursue a business degree with a concentration in computer science, architecture or engineering. It’s a new type of business education for those who want to be leaders in a world where technology is the foundation of innovation.
Hands-On Opportunity
Project-based courses let students continuously apply the concepts they learn in the classroom to real-world situations. This hands-on approach complements IIT’s culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. Programs including Interprofessional Projects (IPROs) [http://ipro.iit.edu/] and Entrepreneurial Professional Projects (EnPROs), and the opportunity to work for start-up companies in IIT’s new business incubator, connect students with leading-edge companies to bring new ideas to market.
Small Class Sizes
Small class sizes mean that your instructors will know you by first name. Students work closely with faculty mentors and industry professionals who bring their professional experience and a passion for teaching to the classroom.
